This is the best thickener for gravy, it makes your gravy taste real good too--no flour taste.
- Put drippings in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, shut off.
- Put cornstarch and water in a small bowl, whisk well.
- Add it to your drippings--it will thicken it.
This is a standard thicker for gravies and sauces, make sure you have enough drippings when you addd this. For sauces, cook until glossy.You must have at least two cups to add this amount and wisk.
