Graveyard Gravel (Liquorice Sugar)

"This fun sugar is great for Halloween Parties or gift-giving. It looks garishly gray and is super versatile: You could sprinkle it on top of cakes or cupcakes or mix it into tea or coffee. Feel free to experiment with different kinds of liquorice or even fruit gummies for other colours. I came up with this myself so the amounts are a bit of guesswork."

  1. This didn't work at all, I pulsed and pulsed and all I ended up with was powdery sugar and uneven little chunks of soft licorice - I used a soft licorice as stated maybe the brand matters?
