Beauties! I wonder what was the unadapted version like to start with. I thought some of the blue cheese flavor was lost, maybe with little too much cream cheese perhaps, for our tastes. Will try with less of that next time, but over all a real treat!

Lovely appies! I live in wine country in California, and these make a very popular and tasty appie which are perfect for picnics and wine-tastings. Thank you Lizzie-Babette!

As someone who loves to snack on red grapes with bleu cheese and walnuts, I thought this was a great sounding recipe. I had to try it. I did use the white grapes that the recipe calls for, though I think red would work fine as well. And I would have gone with walnuts, but I discovered I was out, so I used almonds instead, which was absolutely delicious with this. I didn't make these for any special occasion, but I've got them put up in the fridge to have ready as a quick and delicious snack. A little of this goes a long way, as it is deceptively filling.

I got this recipe from another site a couple years and finally got around to making it earlier this year for a dinner party. While I personally didn't care for them very much they were a huge hit for everyone else, especially DH. They make a beautiful presentation when stacked on a double tier dessert platter and you can take it a step further by putting them in foil truffle/candy cups for the holidays. And Lizzie is right, I mixed the leftover nuts and cheese and DH used the mixture on toasted bagels and thought it was divine!

This was a hit at my friend's baby shower. People were so surprized with the sweet cool insides! I do find that after awhile the nuts get soggy (I tried to make this a day ahead of time, and I think it was okay until it lost it's chill as it was sitting on the table) Next time I will make it the same day. Though time consuming, it's worth it.

I made a double batch of this for my husband's birthday party this past weekend. I don't even like Bleu Cheese and thought it was good. Our Bleu Cheese-loving friends devoured them! There were a few guests who didn't care for them, but it was an overall success! Thank you!
