- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
- 3⁄4 cup raisins
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1⁄4 cup Post Grape-Nuts cereal
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a heavy saucepan, stir together tapioca, boiling water, brown sugar, raisins and cereal. Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Over high heat, bring this mixture to a boil, stirring well to prevent sticking. Boil for 1 minute.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in vanilla.
- Serve hot with cream.
