These bars are very good. I only used 7/8 cup of sugar and of corn syrup because I don't like things as sweet as most people do. The bars were still very stiff when cooled and too sweet for my taste. Next time I will try 2/3 cup of both sugar and corn syrup. The peanut butter gives them a wonderful flavor. Pat

I had bought some Grape Nuts and found out that I am not a fan. Looked for a recipe to use them up. Although my expectation were not high considering I already knew I didn't care for the main ingredient. I have to say, while DD didn't care for them, DH and I were both pleasantly surprised!

These are great. It's a great way to get rid of extra ingredients you have laying around. I added coconut and sliced almonds.

I found a box of grape nuts in the back of the pantry, although they were past their use by date, this turned out to be really good. I used a little less of the sugar and the corn syrup.
