1. Do you put the meatballs in frozen? or thaw out.

 2. I can't find regular cocktail meatballs anywhere, only the Italian cocktail. Can I substitute that?

 3. Do Italian style meatballs also work? I couldn’t find cocktail style and don’t belong to Costco. Thank you!

 4. can I serve them at room temperature or cold? Thank you

 5. Can I make these ahead of time and freeze to be defrosted another day? Just wondering if this would freeze well.

 1. Grape jelly meatballs are delicious and addicting! Please do not use He in cocktail sauce as the other reviewer stated: IT IS NOT THE SAME AS CHILI SAUCE! Cocktail has horseradish and chili sauce is just ketchup with spices, garlic, and onion. As an alternative, I sometimes use the grape jelly with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and ketchup.

 2. I use this chili sauce instead of Heinz, add a few crushed chili flakes, and it's the first thing to go at potlucks!

 3. I'm a little confused with the ingredients. Is it really 3 (5 lbs) bags of meatballs? That's 15 lbs of meatballs. Please forgive if I miss read. Thanks!

 4. I've tried this at a friends house and fell in love. She told me the ingredients and it seems a bit odd, but it tastes amazing. Like a sweet exotic bbq sauce.

If any of you are wondering what Chili Sauce is (and cannot find it)... it's another name for cocktail sauce. It will be with the cocktail sauce (usually used with shrimp) near the ketchup and bbq sauce. Heinz brand says chili sauce, the other brand says cocktail and has a shrimp on it.

 5. Made these today for a potluck. The soldiers there loved them, one even asked for the recipe. I couldn't find chili sauce, used ketchup and a dash of hot sauce. Also, if I had cooked these for 6 or 8 hrs there would of only been pieces of meat left, cooked for about 4 on low and that was perfect!!
