Fantastic! Made it with 1/2 the oil and had to sub the maple syrup with honey - also used 1/2 the honey. The only problem is you cannot stop eating eat!!!!

Alton Brown is the best! This granola makes a great snack and a nice addition to fruit and yogurt parfaits.

How can I not give 5 stars to Alton Brown! This is a great recipe. While baking it smells just like "granola"! I'd like to work honey and butter and orange zest into the next batch, but this is great as is. Thanks for posting it! I thought of doubling the recipe because three cups oatmeal didn't seem like much, but it turned out to be plenty!

Sorry, I had to resubmit the review since I forgot to give it stars. It was just too good! I only had whole almonds, so I used them chopped, and also used unsweetened coconut, without adding more sugar. It was just perfect. Love it!!

I loved this! I actually loved it so much, I made it twice in one week (and its just my husband and me...) I used almonds and walnuts one time, and just walnuts the second time, but I plan to actually use the almonds and cashews tomorrow, when I make it again. Store-bought, never again!

I love this granola! this was my first time making granola from scratch, and it turned out perfectly. the texture is crunchy just like i like it, and i love all the nuts in it. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe, thanks for posting.
