Not to sweet, not too crispy, and they never last too long.
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix Shortening, Sugar, Eggs, & Vanilla.
- Blend in Flour, Baking Powder, & Salt.
- Cover & chill for 1 hour.
- Roll dough out to between 1/4" & 1/2" thick.
- Cut into cookies with biscuit cutter.
- Bake in ungreased cookie sheet for 6-8 minutes.
