Reviews

  1. A really yummy cookie. I used 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. I also rolled the dough into a log and chilled over night. Then sliced and baked them.

  2. Great easy sugar cookie recipe. I did cream the butter and sugar thoroughly as suggested by a previous reviewer, and the cookies turned out beautifully. Thanks for the post!

  3. I made Christmas Tree decoration cookies with my two year old. This recipe has been around for ages, and works great.

  4. These were good, but not my favorite. Still looking for the recipe I lost.

  5. Bleah. Seriously.

Tweaks

  1. I was SO glad to find this site and recipe--went to get my copy out and it is vanished!! Could have been a disaster for Christmas!! I've used this one since I started baking. It came with the Tupperware cookie cutters my mom bought. There is a trick I do with mine that I'd like to share with everyone. Try rolling in powdered sugar instead of flour. The dough doesn't stick or get stiff from the extra flour, plus the cookies have a nice sweet crust.
