Granny Smith Cake

"This is a recipe I picked up at a food fair, from a booth promoting apples. Since quality Granny Smith apples are available year-round (here in North America, at least), this is a good apple cake to make any time of the year."

  1. The Granny Smith Cake is delicious. I had to modify it somewhat since I couldn't get a spice cake mix. I substituted with a butter pecan mix and added cinnamon, nutmeg and a bit of ginger. Very tasty and very moist. Juanita Hicks
