I grew up eating this on toast, bread, crackers. I love love love it. It takes quite a while to mix up but so worth it. I have made this but don't know how much exactly it makes <Yikes> Sorry.

I just had to rate this recipe. I grew up watching my mother eat this spread and later my older sister always made it also. Later I found out that this was my Grandpa Mitchell's recipe!! I am smiling at the thought that someone else's grandfather loved this recipe too. It is SO good!! My kids fight over it! My family always makes it with a combination of swiss cheese and mild or sharp longhorn cheese, 1 small jar of pimento (with the juice) and enough mayo to moisten.
