  1. The straight recipe is easy to make and makes delicious light, moist muffins that taste great. And so little sugar! I like to mix in chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and/or pineapple tidbits, too. Thank-you!

  2. Great no fail muffins. Have made them twice. Once I added walnuts and the second time I added blueberries. I like to add some vanilla to the mix and leave out the nutmeg.

  3. Wow these are so delicious! They rose perfectly - which is a first for me, being a typically bad muffin maker. I was pleasantly surprised with these muffins given the average reviews. I think they deserve a lot higher! I followed the recipe as written, adding chocolate chips to half and dried cranberries to one - but once I tasted them I realised the extras are not needed. Baked in 15minutes. So yummy and filling! Highly recommended! Thanks for the awesome recipe

  4. Made for my 3 Chefs - tasty muffins - only change I made was to add some mini chocolate chips! Thanks Ann!

  5. I also found these rather bland. My kids would not eat them. They do have potential.....

  1. I made this recipe last weekend and replaced the white sugar with brown sugar and also doubled the nutmeg and cinnamon. Really really tasty! Will definately make again
