  1. I'm wondering if the reason other chefs haven't tried this recipe is because of the title. Well I'm here to tell you that these are addictively good! Almost a cross between a bar cookie and candy. Very rich and delicious! I knew it was going to be good when I couldn't stop eating the mix for the base and top. It was so good unbaked...but got even better after baking. What could be bad tasting with chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter! Definitely not for those watching their weight...but the rest of us can enjoy indeed. Made for PAC Spring 2013.

  2. I have had Gma's mistake's since I was a child. I am so addicted. Many tell me that they are too sweet. I also have eaten the batter lol I found they taste best sitting for 24 hours or more after baking (if you can resist the temptation. ) I am actually going to make them with-in the next few days... They are fattening so what I do also because they are rich , I cut them in small little rectangles and that way the person does not get sick of them and they can control the amount they have . I only know one person who has ever said no to a second piece!! lol

I live in Michigan, and I have just recently gotten more into cooking. I love to have friends and relatives over for dinner and fix something that they really love. I am very passionate about my family, (Matt and daughter Evelyn, my dogs Britanie, Bailey and Izzy..) Without them, I would be nothing.
