This was extremely tasty. I made this Saturday night for dessert for our dinner guests. I have to admit, I did not use my oven, we were grilling out. I bought a pre-baked pie crust. My choices were either Keebler's graham crust or shortbread crust. I opted for the shortbread crust, other wise I followed the recipe. To brown the meringue topping, I used a kitchen torch. It was lovely and was enjoyed by all. Thank you for posting your Grandma's pie recipe. (Made for PRMR)

Wow, this was the best lemon meringue pie ever. So quick and easy to make, with terrific results. I will never buy a store bought box of pie mix ever again, It's just too easy and tastes better. So much flavor, a lovely, silky and velvety filling with a beautiful meringue. I made a homemade pie crust that worked well with the filling. Thank you so much for sharing this winner. I have placed this in my Favorites for 2013...Kudos on being the first recipe in the new cookbook.

This lemon pie was absolutely delicious! Everything turned out wonderful even the meringue. I used some Meyer lemons from a friend's tree and they worked perfectly for this pie. Can't wait to have another piece. Thanks for this scrumptious recipe -- we will definitely make it again. Made for Make My Recipe Reunion tag, November, 2012.
