Grandma's Farm Bread

This recipe is from my grandmother, who taught me to make bread. When I was little that what I called it. My grandma is 99 years old, so I started saving her recipes here.

• Prep Time: 2 hrs
• Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 6 loaves

• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/2 cup molasses
• 2 1/2 cups dry milk
• 1/2 cup oil
• 3 tablespoons salt
• 2 cups rolled oats
• 2 quarts water
• 1/4 cup yeast
• 8 eggs
• 12 cups wheat flour
• 10 cups white flour

Directions:

1. 1. mix first six ingredients together.
2. 2. Stir in 1 quart of boiling water.
3. 3. Then 1 quart of cold water.
4. 4. When mixture has cooled. Blend in yeast.
5. 5.Put beaten eggs into batter.
6. 6. Add wheat flour, then the white flour.
7. 7. Knead for about 15 minutes.
8. 8. put in clean oiled bowl let rise 1 hour. Then divide into 6 loaves. Let rise 30 mintues.
9. 9. Bake at 325 degress for 35 minutes.
