Grandma's Deviled Eggs

Everyone loves Grandma's eggs, but getting the recipe on paper can sometimes be quite a job. Well, here it is! Thanks Joanne Higgins-aka Grandma. Here's a hint-better make 2 dozen, 1 doesn't go to far in our family.

  1. Hard boil eggs and peel. To make eggs peel easier I peel them while they are still hot under cold running water. Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove egg yolks.
  2. Combined rest of ingredients together. Add eggs to mixture and beat with mixer until smooth.
  3. Stuff egg yolk mixture back into egg white halves. Sprinkle with paprika if desired.

I thought these were pretty good. I have never used vinegar in deviled eggs before. I used dijon mustard and regular mayo. As I'm not a huge miracle whip fan. Thank you very much! Made for Fall PAC 2008

*Made for PAC Spring 2007* These were quite nice. The vinegar gave them a little zip. I used regular mayonnaise vs Miracle Whip as I find Miracle Whip a little too tangy. The vinegar and sugar, made for a nice balance. These worked out very well for us. Thanks for sharing. Nick's Mom
