A different variation on a summertime classic.
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrot, shredded
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup French onion dip
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- Mix cabbage and carrots together in large bowl.
- Mix remaining ingredients together in small bowl.
- Pour liquids over cabbage mixture and stir well.
- Cover and refrigerate (overnight if possible), then serve.
I used coleslaw mix but followed the rest of the recipe as written. We all enjoyed this as it was different from my regular coleslaw.
The french onion dip gives a great taste to this coloslaw. I will do it again for sure. I used splenda instead of sugar. Thanks wannabechef2 :) Made for Alphabet chef tag game
This amazed me. It really does taste great with the French onion dip. It's easy to prepare. I used the package coleslaw mix to save time. This is a keeper and will be my stand by coleslaw recipe from now on. Thanks for posting. :)
