This was my grandmother's recipe, everything she made was just really good. I decided to post a bunch of her recipes so others can enjoy what she did for me.

  1. Shred cabbage, carrots, green pepper, and onion set aside in large bowl.
  2. Mix mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, dry mustard, celery seed, pour over shredded cabbage mixture mix well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

Hi leanne,i made this for easter for our picnic,and I want to tell you it got raves!!!!!It is the best cole slaw I have ever eaten.I love it.Everyone raved over it.I have added it to my side dish cookbook.I will make this often,a winner and a keeper.Thank you for sharing grandma's recipe with us.
