Grandmas Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

"This is my Grandma's recipe. I learned it from Mom. Grandma used to make these for me and my brother and sister when we went to her house. Both my kids, my sister and brother, and my neice make me make them whenever I visit. They are best eaten warm with a glass of milk! Peanut butter can be substituted for the cocoa. Or add raisins or nuts (pecans or walnuts are good)."

  1. These cookies were very good and didn't last very long, however, I thought 2 cups of sugar was a bit too much, so I cut it down to 1 cup but they were still too sweet. Yet, they were great! So good, I will use this recipe in the future!

Love to cook, but my wife doesn't like me in her kitchen. Favorite dish to cook - Love making and giving my fruitcake to people that like it. I think my Shrimp Scampi is my best.
