This was a wonderful icing! It was a snap to make and thickened right up. The only change I made was to use evaporated milk instead of regular milk, since I only had 1%. I will definitely be making this again soon.

  1. Combine brown sugar, milk, and butter; bring to a full boil and cook for exactly 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add baking powder and vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread.
