  1. Cut onions into chunks and boil for 10 minutes.
  2. salt and pepper chops and place in large baking dish.
  3. cover chops with onions.
  4. combine all other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  5. pour mixture over chops and onions.
  6. bake at 375 degrees for an hour.

This is a great recipe. It was so easy and simple to make. I did make some changes, I us 1/2 Cup of brown sugar ( sugar twin) and a dash of red pepper. I did not boil the onions, I just slice them and put on top of the chops. It was great. I am looking forward to making it again.

Very good! I did make a few changes, not many. I don't like my meat really sweet, like someone else here said, so I cut the brown sugar in half. I used beef broth instead of water and I added a dash of cayenne pepper because I love sweet and spicy together. I skipped the step of boiling the onions - instead I just sliced them a little thick, laid them on the pan and laid the chops over top. I cooked my chops for 45 minutes they were done, as well as the onions. Super easy. I will make this again.

I thought this was really great, however, I cut the brown sugar down to 1/2 cup because I don't like my meat to be too sweet. I also double the other spices (sage, mustard, pepper and paprika) and I really enjoyed it. Thanks!
