This is a great recipe. It was so easy and simple to make. I did make some changes, I us 1/2 Cup of brown sugar ( sugar twin) and a dash of red pepper. I did not boil the onions, I just slice them and put on top of the chops. It was great. I am looking forward to making it again.

Very good! I did make a few changes, not many. I don't like my meat really sweet, like someone else here said, so I cut the brown sugar in half. I used beef broth instead of water and I added a dash of cayenne pepper because I love sweet and spicy together. I skipped the step of boiling the onions - instead I just sliced them a little thick, laid them on the pan and laid the chops over top. I cooked my chops for 45 minutes they were done, as well as the onions. Super easy. I will make this again.

I thought this was really great, however, I cut the brown sugar down to 1/2 cup because I don't like my meat to be too sweet. I also double the other spices (sage, mustard, pepper and paprika) and I really enjoyed it. Thanks!

I doubled the sage, added three cloves of garlic, and sauteed the onions in butter to the point where they just carmelized and tasted tangy to offset the sugar. I added two small cans of mushrooms too, since DH is a fiend for mushrooms, I always incorporate them into every meal for him. I still found the sauce too sweet. Dh thought it was fine, but it was a little too overpowering. I served them with roasted potatoes and Mushy Peas.

I'm sorry, Delilah26, but this was just too sweet for our taste. I used two pork chops, one onion and only 3/4 cup of brown sugar, but the rest of the ingredients I used as stated in your recipe. The flavor of the pork was non-existent because of the excessive sugar. Perhaps making it a sweet-and-sour dish with vinegar or pineapple added to it would be better.

Delilah26 Thanks so much for posting this wonderful recipe. I made this easy dish last night and it was amazing. The smell while baking was outstanding. I doubled the sauce because I cooked 10 chops. The chops were even better today, we had them as sandwiches for lunch. Next time I will add two cloves of garlic, just because I love garlic in almost everything...Thanks so much for this keeper...BK

We loved your easy, tasty pork chops!! Super-quick dish to assemble and bake. I used just 2 chops, but all of the sauce ingredients. They baked up nice and moist, and the taste of the sauce is exceptional!! Well worth rave reviews!! Thanks so much for sharing ... I'll be making these soon again!! Laudee
