YUM! Sometimes the old recipes are the best ones! I had some apples that I wanted to use up, so I used quite a bit more than 2 cups, we like lots of apple so it worked out really well. At first I thought the dough was too stiff, but once the apple was mixed in it was fine. I sprinkled the entire top with cinnamon sugar before baking, and we didn't think it required an icing. Delicious. Your grandma's recipe is a perfect treat, great tasting and not too heavy. Thanks for posting, made for PAC Spring 2010.people found this review Helpful. This was so good and just the right size for my family to have as a snack. Of course, they ate the whole pan in one sitting. I agree with Grandpa Harry....the smell alone was worth the effort. THANKS FOR SHARING...I LOVE GRANDMA RECIPES!!!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you?
