Grandma Susie's Apple Crunch Salad

"I'm not sure where this recipe originally came from, maybe a box of jello? A jello mold was always a holiday tradition with my mom. This was always one of the kid's favorites. Pretty holiday color too - good for Thanksgiving or christmas."

  1. This was a nice jello salad, the addition of the cinnamon and apple juice was unique and a nice change.

  2. The cinnamon and apple juice gave the jello a nice flavor. It is a simple jello salad with a small amount of apple and celery which set up on the top for me as I didn't take time to let the jello thicken. I made this for our Thanksgiving dinner and it went well with our tradition dishes. I give it a slightly above average rating because it is a little better than an average jello recipe.
