My favorite salad dressing. Super easy and a great way to shake things up when you are bored with all of the bottled dressings!
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1⁄3 cup sugar or 1⁄3 cup sugar substitute
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash a pepper
- Combine all of the ingredients in a bottle or jar. Mix well. Don't refrigerate.
This was easy and tasted great on a mixed garden salad. The flavor is mild and slightly sweet. Thank you for sharing your recipe! Made for PAC Fall 07.
Delicious! Homemade salad dressing always tastes better, and when you can pronounce all of the ingredients, it's got to be better for you. This dressing is easy to stir together with ingredients always on hand, and is one of the few that doesn't need to be made ahead of time for the flavors to meld. Served with a green lettuce salad but would be wonderful with a variety of spinach or other greens and veggies. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2007.
