    Grandma O's Broccoli Chicken Casserole

    Directions:

      Cook rice. Cook chicken breasts and shread into bite-sized chuncks. Saute onions in butter until soft. Add sour cream and soup. Add salt pepper and garlic powder. Precook broccoli for a minute or two in the microwave to soften in up, but don't cook it all the way. Combine sauce in large bowl with broccoli, chicken and cooked rice. Mix in 1 cup of crushed potato chips. Transfer misture to a buttered 9x13 casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Pull casserole out and sprinkle with remaining potato chips and cheddar cheese. Bake for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
