Made as posted using sugar-free Jello. Made in a small trifle bowl so it turned out pretty. Thanks for sharing Davalyn. Made for PAC Spring 2010.

I wasn't sure if this recipe would work as I had to make some minor changes. I couldn't find crushed pineapple so I put some pineapple rings in the blender and then drained them well. I also used raspberry jelly as I didn't have any cherry. Well, I am happy to say it was a great success and my fussy MIL and BIL both said five stars immediately! Thanks for a great recipe.

This was great! I did exactly as written and I wouldn't change a thing. Well, I did use low fat cream cheese. And I won't do that again. I found it made the white layer a bit "gritty". I don't have a trifle bowl but this fit into two loaf pans beautifully. That made one for us and one to share with the neighbours! Perfect. Thank you so much for this great dish!

Hello Davalyn_rain. My friend Kato told me how much she and her DH enjoyed this recipe...so, of course, I wanted to make it too! This is delish. I less cream cheese than ask for (cutting fat don't ya know *sigh*) and it whipped up nice and fluffy with the Cool Whip. I used Cherry and Fruit Fiesta flavors of Jello. I can see why your family loves this, it's yummy. With sugar free Jello, light cream cheese and Cool Whip I got a marvelous diabetic (or calorie watching) friendly treat. I also used crushed pineapple because thats what I had. Thanks much for posting your gramma's recipe. I hope that she knows that others are now enjoying it too. I'm going to add this to my Christmas cookbook.

Thanks for sharing your grandma's recipe Davalyn_rain. My dh & I really enjoyed this treat. I used cherry and orange jello and crushed pineapple. It was what I had on hand. This was relatively quick and very easy to put together. I love the way that the orange/fruit mixture mixed with the rest of the treat. It looked so pretty and tasted great. A lovely cold, refreshing treat, flavorful and creamy. I will definitely make this again.

Word to the wise...do not use Lime and Grape Jello. Not good. Sooo not good. :)
