This was one of my Grandmother's recipes. The whole family enjoyed this one when she made it.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups celery, cut fine
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup rice
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 cups water
- Brown burger.
- Put in baking dish, burger, celery, onion, soy sauce and rice.
- Cover and bake 2 hours at 375, uncovering the last 1/2 hour.
Followed this recipe's timing and temp and - whoops - I had rice mush! It's really tasty, but I think I'd go down to 325 for maybe 1 1/2 hours total.
