Grandma Dunn's Lemon Supreme Bundt Cake

My grandmother used to make this all the time. It is one of my favorites. I brought it to a pot luck once and one of the guest wanted to use it for a layer of their wedding cake. It worked.

This takes me back to my childhood when my mom (Betty Dunn - no relation to Grandma Dunn) used to make this same cake. I substituted some of my own honey for some of the sugar in the cake and the glaze. It could not have been more delicious. Every bite was gone after the church picnic!

  1. Mix together cake mix, sugar, oil and nectar.
  2. Add 1 egg at a time and stir until blended.
  3. Add lemon juice and lemon zest and mix well.
  4. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan.
  5. Bake 325 oven for 1 hour. Invert onto plate.
  6. Make glaze and pour over warm cake.
  7. For glaze: Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice and zest.
