    My Grandmother sent me this recipe, another one that she highly recommends. She says this is great for parties, pinics or anything because it keeps well in the fridge!

    Directions:

      Combine veggies in a bowl.

      Combine remaining ingredients in sauce pan over medium high heat and bring to a boil.

      Pour over veggies, mix, and place in air tight container over night.

      Mix well from bottom before serving.

      This is lovely, a very nice salad. Kind of like a coleslaw because I chopped everything in the food processor, but I like it that way and would happily make it again like that. I halved this recipe because I wanted a smaller amount (and doing this worked great). Also, I used red onion because regular onions raw upset my stomach. Thanks for posting this Breeze144, your grandmother has some good recipes.
