  • Reserve 1/2 cup for topping Press remainder into deep pie plate or shallow baking dish.
  • Bake in slow oven (325) until brown.
  • Cook in double boiler and fill crust.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup crumbs on and cover with meringue.
  • Brown in oven.
