      I had a Pear, Walnut & Gorgonzola Pizza at a restaurant and wanted to try one at home. Since I was serving it for supper, I used the dough from Pizza Dough and Sauce for my base and just prebaked it for about 10 minutes before putting the toppings on and going from there. The flavors were good, but the kids thought it tasted more like a dessert because it was so sweet. (They didn't complain about eating "dessert" for supper though! LOL!) I thought the pepper taste was a little too strong. I think with some minor tweaking, this recipe could become a favorite around here. I used reduced fat cheese with no problems. Thanks for posting!

      Great combo, especially with a little arugula thrown on top at the end. It is definitely sweet, and straddles the dinner dessert fence. If you wanted a more savory version you could sub crisped prosciutto for the pears. I halved the pepper and doubled the nuts. I think there is a weird food.com conversion with it saying it is 8 inches of tortillas, and assumed it was one per serving. I have to admit I was confused by the word wrap in step 4, but since the title has the word pizza in it, I had to figure that they were meant to be flat. My tortillas were crisp and browning by 8 minutes, and the consistency was just right. The balsamic, blue cheese and nuts really make this!

      So good! I eat pears every day, but don't cook with them, so I had to try this recipe. I did add grilled chicken to this though, and used 3 mini whole-wheat pizza crusts instead of tortillas. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The balsamic vinegar and blue cheese really taste incredible in this dish, so don't skimp on it.

      Ooo! I love quick dinners that don't fall in the grilled cheese or cereal category! This was really good. I loved the addition of the balsamic vinegar. I added chicken (bf doesn't think it's a meal otherwise) and cooked it with the onions, then topped it with arugula. I also used a pizza crust vs. the tortilla. Very good! Thanks for a bit of gormet in a flash!
