Goulash

This is a true southern dish. One pot, No worries. I am lucky if this makes it to the fridge for left overs. Enjoy

• Prep Time: 20 mins
• Cook Time: 1 hrs

Ingredients:

Serves: 8-10

Yield: 2.0 cups

• 1 lb ground chuck
• 1 lb ground beef
• 4 garlic cloves , chopped
• 2 (10 ounce) cans Rotel Tomatoes
• 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
• 2 cups elbow macaroni , uncooked
• 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
• 1 (12 ounce) bottle spicy hot V8
• chopped onion
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 1 cup water

Directions:

1. Brown ground meat until pink. Drain off grease.
2. Add onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
3. Cook 5 minutes.
4. Add remaining ingredients.
5. Stir and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
6. Salt and pepper to taste. If mixture thickens to much add more water.
7. Serve with corn chips and cheese, cornbread, or garlic bread.

My husband and I loved this! It was a little spicy for the kids, I'd suggest either the Spicy V8 or the Rotel, but not both if serving to kids. We mixed ground beef and ground bear and it turned out wonderfully.
