Sweet and scrumptious.
- 1 lb carrot, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- Boil the sliced carrots until crisp/tender, drain and put carrots back in saucepan, add butter, maple syrup, salt and pepper, heat through and seve.
I found this recipe looking for a way to use up some of my maple syrup before the packers come. I only used 1 tbsp. of butter but the full 2 tbsp. of maple syrup. These were sweet and we all enjoyed them. Thanks.
