Gooseberry Patch Salad Dressing

"I found this on the Goosberry Patch website several years ago. It didn't have a name so I came up with this one. It is simple and delicious. You must use the Marukan Seasoned Gourmet Rice Vinegar for it to taste right. Toss with greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, bacon bits, onion, strawberries, and cheddar cheese or your own salad combination. Delicious!"

• Yields: 1 cup
• Serves: 4-6

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 1⁄2 cup marukan seasoned gourmet rice vinegar

directions

1. Combine oil and vinear together in a container with a tight fitting lid.
2. Shake well.

This dressing was nice and light. No major flavors to overtake the taste of the salad ingredients. Easy to make with 2 commonly found ingredients .Thanks for sharing your recipe! Made as written, next time I will try adding some salt, pepper, basil, oregano etc or other spices to give it more zip. Simple dressing that can be served to anyone.
