Best with roast lamb! A JO Recipe.
- 4 tablespoons of fresh mint, chopped finely
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 2 pinches salt
- 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- Put the mint into a bowl with the sugar and water, stir until sugar has dissolved.
- Add salt and vinegar and allow to tand for 30 minutes.
I'm sure this would be lovely with roast lamb--we had it as a dipping sauce for little lamb meatballs -- it was terrific! This will be a regular feature around here! (Also good with the addition of little hot pepper sauce)
