  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the grits, brown sugar, flour, and eggs.
  3. Blend well, then stir in the milk and butter or margarine. Add the vanilla and vinegar, and blend well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pie shell and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is just set. Let cool briefly, then serve while still warm.
  5. Serve warm by itself or topped with ice cream.

This pie was INCREDIBLY delicious and SO EASY to make! My husband and I loved it! It is simple but so tasty and flavorful. It is also nice and inexpensive to make since its made with grits.
