Wow! Are these ever good! These could easily be the best pancakes I've ever tasted! Light, fluffy with just a touch of sweetness in the batter. Very simple to prepare. I served with real butter and Canandian Maple syrup. What could be better? I guess it only stands to reason, if you want the best pancakes, contact a Canadian where you find the best syrup! Excellent pancakes, Lennie! Thanks for sharing!

These are excellent pancakes. When I couldn't put my hands on my usual favorite recipe for regular breakfast pancakes, I turned to Recipezaar to find a recipe and am glad I did. These were easy to prepare, the measurements are accurate, and they looked and tasted great.

Great recipe! Light and fluffy. I added chocolate chips to half the batter for a special treat!

Absolutely delish! I topped them with melted fruit jam and real maple syrup. I had a very small amount of sour cream, and added it to the batter with the milk. Re optional vanilla, definetly add it. Easy to make. If you're not used to covering your pancakes bef0re flipping, watch them carefully; I found out they burn quickly.

We're not big on breakfasts in this family, usually because we're not always together. But as luck would have it today we were and I made these light and fluffy pancakes. I didnt do the lid 'thing' as I already had my griddle warmed up on the stove top, they still turned out wonderful, thanks Lennie for yet another taste sensation. Eve =)

Light and fluffy pancakes with a great taste and texture! I didn't change a thing and wouldn't. I served them with butter and pure maple syrup! The kids and DH devoured every last one! This recipe is definitley a keeper!

These are melt-in-your-mouth panckes! My family loved them. They didn't turn out thick for me but were very good anyway. Thanks!

Yummy! Light and fluffy. Next time I make more and save the leftovers for pikelettes, per my DH's request.

My wife made these over the weekend for me. We both loved them. She cut the sugar, we're both diabetic and added a pinch of salt. They were wonderfully light. Can't wait to get back to the states to make them for the kids. LR and Bonnie in China.

Great pancakes! I'll never have to buy packet pancake mix again. I served them for dinner with ice-cream and maple syrup.

I must have done something wrong because the batter was not thick at all, so I added more flour .. the pancakes were delicious!! I really loved them, thanks!!!

I have made these twice now and both times they were delicious. I am happy to find a good pancake recipe that my whole family enjoys. They were easy to make and turned out just right. Thanks, Lennie!

As far as I know I did everything right following the recipe. But unfortunatley we did not like these pancakes. They were just about the worst we had. They tasted way to "eggy" for us. I am glad everyone else seemed to like them but we did not.

We did not care much for these pancakes. A box mix or frozen cake would of been better. They just didn't seem to have much flavor. I had some trouble with the recipe. I first started out with the griddle on covered. Had to scrap the first 2 attempts off. Re-read recipe. Went to the electric skillet. Uneven heating. Skillets fault. Ended up thinning the batter a little and using cast iron skillet.

Very nice tasting pancakes, Lennie! I was a little concerned at first when I mixed the wet and dry together...I thought it would end up too wet. But I just let it sit for about 3 minutes before I made them. I added chocolate chips to the flip side for my nephews (no, not children! Ages 19 & 21!) and added wild blueberries to the rest for us other adults! Great flavor, Lennie! Thanks! M&Mers

These pancakes are really good. They were so fluffy and tastey. The batter kept well in the fridge. I will be making these again. Thanks for a great recipe Lennie.
