okay...did not know what to do as far as star rating...because it didn't entirely work right for me ... the instructions are a bit vague...like very incomplete...baking temp is stated but time is not...well rough time I estimated at about a half hour ... assumed by me from making cereal bars in the past (?????) ...however, that did not work out so well...they were totally messy even after almost 50 mins so I took them out of the baking dish and shaped them out into "bars" on a cookie sheet to firm up some...for about another 15 or more...I don't know it was starting to get on my last nerve so i just bagged it... I have a mixture of bits and pieces, cookies and some butt ugly bar looking lumps :) {{lol}}...the ingredients are super...the flavor is good and i do have edible (even pretty yummy) cookie like misshapen lumps of granola...I know some of this is my fault and i should have been able to do a better job ...but i think the instruction could be tweaked a bit...perhaps refer to recipe#150639 and work off some of the ideas there...maybe toast the dry mixture first...maybe better binding ingredients...perhaps some flax...maybe make the nut and seed mixture paste like by grinding would help the molding...I will probably try these (something like them) again ... i like the ingredients and think it can work and be a 4-5 star... but needs some fixing {{or maybe i need some fixing!!??}}...I would also prefer less icky sweetness but that my sour puss talking :) I had to get the review done for the Healthy Choices Tag {{ am a month late already}} so had to put the ideas on the back burner for now before I had a burnt mess{{llol}} and move on to other things...I will re-aproach this recipe again when I have the ingredients to spare...right now I have to stop fooling with it...we are eating it more as a cereal...as in with a spoon or with fingers in a way you wouldn't do in public LOL ...again maybe it's me I have not been on top of my game of late...sorry but thanks anyway...Good ideas...almost good eats... :)
