  1. preheat oven to 350.
  2. line a 9x13 inch pan with foil and butter foil.
  3. melt butter.
  4. with an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar.
  5. add eggs and vanilla and beat another minute.
  6. add flour and salt.
  7. fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
  8. pour into pan and bake 25 minutes.
  9. blondies will still be soft in the middle.
  10. cool and cut into squares.
