Made these for supper last night exactly the way the recipe stated and they were a real hit! All my family loved them and my DS asked if he could take the little bit that was left,home with him!! I'll certainly be making this again!

I halved this recipe and made it on a week night with a pork roast. It had great flavor that most of my kids enjoyed. It reminds me of "Gourmet" or "Awesome" potatoes only better because it is from scratch! I quickened preparation by microwaving the potatoes for eight minutes instead of boiling them.

We really enjoyed this! I only used half the amount of cheese (250g) which was more than enough. We had it the first day as a side with meat and it was very nice. But, the next day, we had it for lunch - served as the main part of the meal - and it was awesome. Much better the next day, and I think, as it's so rich, we'll have this one as a main course rather than a side in future.

Great tater dish... I used Yukon Golds and cut back some on the cheese as it seemed to be a lot, even for a cheese freak like myself..... I may try this again with an American cheese blended throughout as the cheese seemed to crust over and became somewhat shell like... other than that I loved it!

very good!! I only used 1/2 the amount of cheese as 1 pound seemed a bit extreme. Will be making this recipe again!!

Holy Moley!! These potatoes were a big hit. I was asked to bring a side dish to a pot luck, so I chose these. They were so good...nice and creamy and a delightful flavor, which I thought was sort of light, not that heavy cheesy taste. I used healthy choice chicken soup, light sour cream and full flavor extra sharp cheddar. Thanks Yooper....I'll be making these again very soon.

These were OUTSTANDING!! Neither one of my teenage boys were home for dinner and when they got home later the entire pan was gone!!
