Excellent way to cook mushrooms. I made as written and loved 'em. Thanks for sharing. Made for Spring PAC 2012.
A wonderful recipe for mushroom lovers: so easy and so delicious. My only changes were to add some dried thyme to the breadcrumbs and some minced garlic (if there's a way to sneak in some garlic, I'll always do just that! ;) ) in the last few minutes of cooking the mushrooms. Thank you for sharing this gem of a recipe, Lynn! Made for Zaar Stars Tag.
What's not to love about this dish!! I love breaded mushrooms, and this certainly made a change from deep frying them, with the added bonus of a lovely buttery taste.I used homemade crumbs straight out of the freezer, and they adhered beautifully to the mushrooms, with just a few escaping when I turned them in the pan.A triumph!!Made for PRMR.
