- 1 ounce Galliano
- 2 ounces white Creme de Cacao
- 1 ounce vanilla ice cream or 1 ounce heavy cream
- 3 ounces ice cubes
directions
- Put all ingredients in a blender and blend for 10 seconds.
- Strain into cocktail glasses.

I live less than 10 miles from Poor Red's, El Dorado, CA, the birthplace of this drink. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ICE CREAM IN THE ORIGINAL RECIPE!!!! The recipe also doesn't use heavy cream. It is made with half n half.

Very good drink. I doubled the ingredients(keg size) and used heavy cream next time I will try the ice cream. We will enjoy this many more times over the summer, cool and refreshing. Thanks Susie for sharing this recipe!
