Texture, stickiness and taste were great. I used the equivalent weight of Nestle Dark Chocolate Chips in place of Godiva. We dipped marshmallows, strawberries, M & M cookies and the favorite was bananas. Thanks for the recipe.

This delicious chocolate fondue was a bit of an investment - but you pay for the really good things in life! Served with chunks of sponge-cake, banana and strawberries. My family adores me.LOL

Wonderful chocolate fondue!. All of my guests and I loved it. I placed the fondue pot with the chocolate and cream in a hot water bath on the stove to melt and mix the ingredients. It worked perfectly. Thank you for sharing. Made for PAC Spring 2011

This chocolate dip was made for expected company this evening, & hopefully there'll still be some left after they get here! I did make a double batch, so just in case there's any left over, I'll have my fix set for tomorrow as well! Do love working with dark chocolate! Thanks for sharing the recipe! I looked up on-line that the standard Godiva dark chocolate bar is 1.5 ounces, so we are talking 6 ounces total. The Godiva dark chocolate I could find was 72% cacao in 3.5 oz. bars (good thing I checked on line). I too heated the cream in the microwave, added the chocolate, heated a bit more and stirred with the vanilla until smooth. I This was dark chocolate nirvana, eaten with freshly picked strawberries. Made for ZWT6--Whine and Cheese for the German chocolate challenge.

Wonderful fondue!! This is a thinner fondue than I normally have had but with it being made with dark chocolate, you only need a thin layer on fruit etc. So easy, I made 1/2 of the recipe and just heated the heavy cream in a 1 cup glass measuring cup in the microwave. Then added in my chopped chocolate and then the vanilla. I let it sit for a few minutes then stirred it til smooth. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for ZWT6.
