Ingredients Nutrition

  • 4 godiva solid dark chocolate bars (3.5 oz each)
  • 12 cup heavy cream
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan over low-medium heat until hot but not simmering.
  2. Add chocolate and stir until melted.
  3. Add vanilla and stir.
  4. Transfer to fondue pot and serve with fresh fruit and pound cake.
  5. Substitute vanilla with orange liqueur, kirsh or framboise for extra flare.

Texture, stickiness and taste were great. I used the equivalent weight of Nestle Dark Chocolate Chips in place of Godiva. We dipped marshmallows, strawberries, M & M cookies and the favorite was bananas. Thanks for the recipe.

This delicious chocolate fondue was a bit of an investment - but you pay for the really good things in life! Served with chunks of sponge-cake, banana and strawberries. My family adores me.LOL

Wonderful chocolate fondue!. All of my guests and I loved it. I placed the fondue pot with the chocolate and cream in a hot water bath on the stove to melt and mix the ingredients. It worked perfectly. Thank you for sharing. Made for PAC Spring 2011
