Loved these nibblers and so easy to make. They were gone real fast. Did use soft spreadable goat cheese, and used French Bread Baguette #483679 by chef # 520644 for the bread. Thank You. Made for ZWT8.
My husband and I not only raved how good these were but fought over the last slice. (And we licked the plate clean, too!) After arranging the bread slices on a serving platter, I felt the dish needed that extra special something to bring it all together but more so for color. Answer: fresh lavender blooms from our garden! I used a locally made goat cheese, homemade bread and local clover honey. Easy and delicious! Will make again soon-guaranteed! Give this lady a 10. Now I must say I was a bit scared as I am not a lover of goats cheese, I have found it to be very strong tasting. I bought a tube like container about 3 inches long that set me back 8 bucks lol. I had a nice French Baguette cut length wise and I followed the recipe to a tee.

Let me first state that I do not like goat cheese, so I did not taste these myself. However, given the reaction by those who did eat this, it is clearly a 5-star recipe. I made this exactly as written, except I had bought spreadable goat cheese, so I did not have to return these to the oven to melt. The combination of all the ingredients was perfect and a great success, so I will definitely serve these again. Also, the easiness factor is a great plus! Made for Please Review My Recipe Tag Game.
