After saving this recipe years ago I finally did this for my youngest today. She loved it! She had so much fun fishing!

Fantastic! My son has been doing this with pretzel sticks, PB and mini marshmallows and sometimes mini chocolate chips. He loved it when I sat out the goldfish crackers. Thanks for sharing!

My grandkids loved making these. We used pretzel rods instead of breadsticks. Perfect on a rainy afternoon.

Found what I had on hand: the small pretzel sticks, rainbow goldfish, and PB. Oh my goodness, I NEVER thought to do this. It's such a cute idea! My youngest was at the table for about 1 1/2 hours just playing and playing. Both kiddos now ask for their fishing snack. Thank you for posting such an awesome idea!!

Really fun treat for my boys! We didn't have breadsticks so we just used chopsticks to "fish" with. Thanks for posting!

We too used pretzel rods (the big ones) as the fishing poles, and used both cheese spread and peanut butter for dipping. Dd really enjoyed this and says the peanut butter is better than the cheese for taste and for catching the fish. Thanks Charlotte for a fun snack.

I stole your idea, Charlotte, and gavie it my own twists. Instead of using peanut butter and breadsticks, I used squirt cheese and pretzel rods. It was a hit with last year's preschool class and this year's kindergarten class. The kids have a ball eating it and the teachers are charmed by it. Thank you so much for this fun recipe.

Brilliant! My two year old fishy fanatic LOVED this treat. So super fun and yummy!!! ~I had a hard time finding breadsticks that weren't garlic flavored so we used long pretzel sticks. Thanks for sharing!
