I used fat free half&half since I could not find light cream in the store. At first I thought the sauce in the pan was way to liquidy so I kept boiling/reducing. It turns out that reducing is not needed (it reduced while broiling). I love this dish and will make again and again (when I'm cheating calorie/fat-wise)

This sauce is super-delicious! And the walnuts end up perfectly toasted. We had it with fresh sliced pears on the side. It's be worth trying with pumpkin ravioli/tortellini too; would go well with the cheese and walnuts. Thanks!

Great recipe.. next time I'll scale back to half the amount of butter.. it didn't need all of it in my opinion.. thanks for posting!
