Yummy Easy Gluten-Free Green Bean Casserole with Carmelized Onions

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb blanched green beans
  • 1 (11 ounce) box cream of mushroom soup (trader joes-cream of portobello)
  • 12 sweet onion
  • 12 cup breadcrumbs (blended GF white bread)
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. -Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. -Blanch green beans then chill in ice bath to keep green color.
  3. -Slice onion and sautee slowly in olive oil until wilted and carmelized.
  4. -Use blender to pulse 2-3 slices of gluten-freen white bread.
  5. -Mix green beans, cream of mushroom, and carmelized onions together.
  6. -Melt butter and mix with breadcrumbs and parm cheese.
  7. -Place in oven proof bowl and top with breadcrumb mix.
  8. -Bake for 30 minutes (until bubbly).
