A lovely recipe that we really enjoyed. I cut out the sugar and used Apple Jalapeno jelly - They looked attractive and tasted wonderful. I will be making this recipe again. 5 Dec 09 I made the recipe again using red pearl onions and again used Jalapeno jelly - Wonderful, I only boiled the onions for about 3 minutes and then when I glazed them had the heat fairly low and cooked them for about 5 more minutes shaking the pan frequently. Love this recipe - I will make it with current Jelly I promise
